82 Ways to Gather Party Bookings

It is darn right exciting to feel and read the inspirational emails that are flying in about our 12 Months to Director approach. We came across this resource today that will help those that are moving their business with Parties. Fill your calendars up!

Read through the list, grab the nuggets that will work for you, and have fun!

1. Send a catalog to a co-worker that has moved
2. Send a catalog to your other home party representatives or do an exchange party.

3. Post a catalog in the teacher's lounge at your child's school.

4. Post a catalog in the employee lunchroom.

5. Hold an open house.

6. Have a booth at a school fair.

7. Advertise in your alumni newsletter and/or local newspaper.

8. Give a catalog to the receptionist at your Doctor or dentist office.

9. Include a business card or flyer with ALL your bill payments

10. Call past hosts.

11. Put current catalog in your neighbor's door. Include a 10% off coupon.

12. Ask friends to have a show.

13. Advertise in your church bulletin.

14. Host an office party or brunch.

15. Host a show before or during a PTA meeting.

16. Mail out catalogs and a wish list.

17. Host your own show. It could even be a fund raiser for your favorite charity.

18. Get a list from the Welcome Wagon. New people may be looking for a consultant or a new job in the area.

19. Set up a display at a craft fair.

20. Participate in a school fund-raiser.

21. Have your husband/significant other promote the product at work.

22. Wear clothing with your company logo on it.

23. Hold a Christmas Shopping Show for men.

24. Offer a Christmas wish list to your guest and then call the gift giver and tell them what the guest wants.

37. Encourage frequent customers to regularly plan parties.

38. Encourage hosts to rebook a show in 6-9 months. She will see the new catalog at her next show.

39. Treat hosts to a special "Host Appreciation Tea"

40. Encourage relatives to book a show.

41. Call your realtor with suggestions for "new home packages"

42. Offer to do a show for local Homemaker Clubs.

43. Start an E-mail address book of customers who want to know what the monthly specials are.

44. Encourage your host and guests to refer potential hosts to you.

45. Offer a gift registry.

47. Describe and highlight the host benefits during shows.

48. Be friendly and enthusiastic.

49. Follow thru on every booking lead.

50. Offer, offer, offer (don't ask for bookings, OFFER to come spoil a potential host with her own party!)
